PURPOSE: A prefabricated handrail post is provided to prevent accidents by minimizing the clothing of walking workers from being hung on a wedge because the wedge of a handrail clamp is positioned in a post side. CONSTITUTION: A prefabricated handrail post(1) comprises a handrail clamp(4). The handrail clamp comprises a lower plate(8), an upper plate(11), and a wedge(7). The lower plate has a wedge coupling hole on which a front panel is bent upward. The upper plate is welded and fixed on a rotating unit(10) rotatably coupled to a post(3) and has a wedge coupling hole corresponding to the wedge hole of the lower plate. The wedge is fitted in the wedge holes of the upper and lower plates and presses a handrail toward the front panel.
