The invention relates to a method for picture mark-supported image evaluation, wherein at least one picture of a scene, in which at least one high-contrast picture mark is visibly introduced, is taken by means of an image capturing device. The taken image is subjected to an image evaluation, wherein at least one picture mark is detected and identified and the position and orientation thereof within the taken picture is detected. The invention is characterized in that a circular area pattern defined by a circular region is selected as a high-contrast picture mark. The circular region thereof is divided into four, point-symmetrically configured quadrant regions in relation to the center of the circle, wherein two quadrants opposite from each other from the center point of the circle are identical in the optical appearance. Two neighboring quadrants in the circumferential direction distinguish themselves from each other in a high-contrast manner. The invention further relates to a ring region surrounding the circular line peripherally, the region being divided in at least two, preferably six ring sectors, individualizing the picture mark. Two each of the neighboring ring sectors in the circumferential direction distinguish themselves from each other in a high-contrast manner and represent a code individualizing the picture mark. |
