EQUIPMENT FOR CRYOPRESERVATION OF STEM CELLS

The invention relates to an equipment for the cryopreservation of human stem cells sampled upon birth from the umbilical cord, to be employed in the stem cell transplantation surgery. According to the invention, the equipment consists of a module intended for conveying the umbilical cord from the place of sampling to the place of processing, a temperature stabilizing module intended for the thermal processing of stem cells sampled from the umbilical cord, a thermal point biocontainer meant for the cryopreservartion of stem cells, as well as a stem cell revitalizing module intended for the thermal processing of stem cells for transplantation purposes.
