PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing loss of a portable electronic device is provided to prevent a portable electronic device from being lost by using a wireless signal. CONSTITUTION: A transmission module(100) is equipped with a main body of a portable electronic device. The transmission module transmits an authentication code as a wireless signal. A circuit unit(110) receives the wireless signal. The circuit unit compares the prestored authentication code by modulating the authentication code. A power supply unit(230) supplies power to the circuit unit.
