PRESSURE MOLD FIXING CASSETTE

PURPOSE: A mold cassette for fixing a wide extrusion mold is provided to reduce the materials for a mold plate and the manufacturing costs for a mold by forming a circular arc-shaped end portions at both sides of the mold plate so that the marginal width between both ends of a product exit slot and both sides of the mold plate can be extended. CONSTITUTION: A mold cassette for fixing a wide extrusion mold comprises two side plates(21), a bottom plate, a peripheral protrusion(23), and two side heating units(25). The side plates are open at the top and have a lateral width corresponding to the lateral width of a mold plate. The bottom plate connects the bottoms of the two side plates, and the underside of the mold plate is pressed onto the upper side of the bottom plate. The peripheral protrusion is formed inward on the rear side of the two side plates and the bottom plate. The heating units are turned on and off and connected to a temperature controller. A mold(1) for extruding a wide precision product exceeding the maximum width of an extruder is fixed to the mold cassette.
