PURPOSE: A parking brake system is provided to possessively control a parking mode or other modes using a piston. CONSTITUTION: A control lever(20) is connected to the outside of transmission. A control lever can rotate. A hard type shift cable(30) is connected to the end of the control lever. A locking device(50) is connected to the shift cable. The locking device maintains a parking release state. A parking device is connected to the control lever. The parking device comprises a piston member and a cylinder. The piston member and cylinder maintain the parking release state by moving the control lever and shift cable by fluid pressure.
