PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for quantitatively investigating an operation limit of an automobile electronic apparatus to instantaneous interruption and instantaneous switch-on of a power source voltage. SOLUTION: Regarding instantaneous interruption of a normal power supply voltage +B applied to a device to be tested and a constantly applied voltage Acc for a memory hold of the device to be tested, the voltage is little by little and gradually changed and applied to the device to be tested by using a program for time and voltage in order to reproduce various patterns, a response of the device to be tested based thereon is monitored, and the right or wrong of output logic is confirmed at separately decided short time intervals. Thereby, a user can exactly confirm occurrence of an unexpected malfunction caused by a program peculiar to digital equipment which is frequently used for an automobile recently, and also can capture a malfunction mode at the time of malfunction occurrence to correspond to a proper design.
