The transplanter is removably attached, for use, to a tractor or power cultivator and has a frame structure mounted in inclination toward ground on a roller preceded by a treader for smoothing the soil. The structure has a flat top part for careying grass patches and a chain and gear system for operation. The grass patches are lowered by the chain and gear system to the ground for transplantation and treading by a tread wheel. The chain gear system actuates by the rotation of toothed ground wheels mounted on the rear of the frame. The transplanter mechanically transplants lawn grass instead of the manual transplantation to expedite the work for lawn creation to the effect of cost reduction.
