<p>PURPOSE: A surge discharge device of an LED lighting system is provided to stably protect an LED lighting system by discharging a discharging element. CONSTITUTION: A bridge diode rectifier(110) rectifies an AC power source. An LED lighting device(120) is driven by output voltage of the bridge diode rectifier. The LED lighting device includes a power source supply unit(121), an LED arranging unit(122), and an LED driving control unit(123). A surge discharge device(130) detects a surge voltage and discharges the surge voltage through the discharge element. The surge discharge device includes a surge detecting unit and a surge discharging unit(132).
