PURPOSE: An analog class AB amplifier is provided to minimize the cross-over distortion of an output signal by configuring a biasing circuit using a current mirror circuit. CONSTITUTION: A complementary push-pull transistor includes a first transistor(10) and a second transistor(20). The first transistor has a current push function. The second transistor has a current pull function. The first and the second transistors may be a bipolar transistor or a field effect transistor. A biasing circuit minimizes the cross-over distortion of an output signal in an analog class AB amplifier for audio. The biasing circuit includes a first and second diodes(30,40), an upper current mirror circuit(50), a lower current mirror circuit(60). |
