PURPOSE: A method for preparing FK506 from Streptomyces strain is provided to effectively synthesize FK506 from the strain. CONSTITUTION: A FK506(tacrolimus) is obtained from a culture by culturing Streptomyces strain in a medium. The Streptomyces strain is Streptomyces clavuligerus(KCTC 10561BP). The FK506 is obtained from a culture by culturing Streptomyces strain in a medium containing methyl maloyl-CoA mutase(MCM) precursor. The MCM precursor contains methyl olate. A mutA gene encoding MCM comprises a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 1. A mutB gene encoding MCM contains a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 2. The mutA and mutB genes are derived from Saccharopolyspora strain containing Saccharopolyspora erythraea. |
