PURPOSE: A method for purifying panaxan polysaccharide from ginseng is provided to enhance anticancer immunity and to directly and indirectly treat immune diseases. CONSTITUTION: A method for purifying panaxan from ginseng comprises: a step of washing raw ginseng or dried ginseng and dipping 70-100% high purity ethanol to wash the raw ginseng or dried ginseng; a step of crushing the raw ginseng or dried ginseng; a step of extracting the raw ginseng or dried ginseng using water at 80-95 deg.C.; a step of separating into a ginseng extract and ginseng cake using a centrifugal dehydrator or by filter press; a step of passing through ultracentrifuge and removing fine particles, macromolecular carbohydrate, and proteins; a step of passing through activated charcoal and a terra alba filter and adsorbing heavy metal ions and agrochemical ingredients; a step of removing a material with high molecular weight from inert hydrocarbon using a filter system; a step of disposing a solution containing low molecular weight material and metallic ion ingredients and preparing purified ginseng polysaccharide panaxan liquid; and a step of concentrating and drying the prepared ginseng extract.
