<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that in conventional methods for improving the moist heat generation and wearing comfortableness including touch feeling and skin touch of a cellulosic fiber material, various means including a resin-finishing technique have been known; however, poor laundering durability, insufficient processing effects, insufficient economy, or the like have resulted. Ž<P>SOLUTION: As a result of promoting the study for the method for modifying cellulosic fiber materials friendly to the human skin to be put to practical use, it has been found that the objective cellulosic fiber material excellent in moist heat generation, touch feeling, wearing comfortableness, laundering durability, economy, or the like is obtained by the following steps: a compound having in the molecule amino and/or carboxy group(s) is reacted with polychloropyrimidine followed by conducting a crosslinking reaction with a cellulosic fiber material.
