METHOD, SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING MULTICAST PREVIEW

A method for implementing multicast preview is disclosed in the present invention, involving an optical line terminal (OLT) and one or multiple optical network units (ONUs) connected under the OLT, the method includes: the OLT sends a command of creating multicast operations profile creating command to the ONU after the OLT has completed the registration of the optical network unit and the configuration of port; the ONU sets the corresponding managed entity (ME) according to the command of creating multicast operations profile sent by the OLT, saves the configuration data in the command of creating multicast operations profile and configures the corresponding preview multicast channel item according to the configuration data. A system for implementing multicast preview and an ONU device thereof are also disclosed in the present invention. The invention can standardize the mutual communication test in Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) system, and improve the efficiency of mutual communication test, thus greatly advancing the technology development of OLT and ONU products in the GPON system.
