The connector has a lead termination (1) with a housing (3) having a conical guide (9) for insertion of the lead cable end, each cable conductor contacted by a pointed penetration contact (4). The twisted lead cable incorporates a positioning element (6) twisted together with the cable conductors, cooperating with an axial guide pin (5) in the lead termination, or an axial opening in its housing, for aligning the cable conductors with the penetration contacts.
