The liquid crystal display (24) is set up on a double reflector (12) with its contacts (25) in openings in a printed circuit board (11) which is also connected to the contacts (19) of light sources, e.g. diodes (18), mounted on small subsidiary boards (17). The reflector serves also as a distance piece with two parts (14,15) in mirror-image relationship about its centre line (13). It is attached to the main circuit board by catches (16). The display is backlit via a diffusion plate (21) with holes (22) in its corners corresponding to pins (23) on the reflector. |
