PURPOSE: A method for implementing navigation according to a digital audio broadcast guide and a traffic information providing system are provided to supply traffic information matched with traffic conditions changed in real time to users by combining a digital audio broadcast with the navigation. CONSTITUTION: A digital audio broadcast is received. Traffic broadcast guide information is obtained(S10). Traffic information and area information are obtained through the traffic broadcast guide information(S20). Accordance between a navigation route and a coordinate route of a vehicle is determined(S30). The coordinate route is obtained by analyzing the traffic information and area information. A driver determines whether a detour for a current route is set or not(S60).
