FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; exhaust gas filters-mufflers. SUBSTANCE: filter-muffler has housing divided into two parts, each accommodating exhaust pipes and separators. Exhaust pipes are perforated, perforations being pointed to separators. Separators are made in form of perforated partitions with separating gauzes. Holes in partitions are arranged so that centers of holes in neighboring partitions do not coincide. EFFECT: improved efficiency of cleaning of exhaust gases and noise damping. 2 cl, 4 dwg
