PURPOSE: A pyrene derivative is provided to suppress excimer crystallization or generation by having large volume and to maintain blue color purity when controlling distribution of electron density in a molecule. CONSTITUTION: A pyrene derivative represented by one or chemical formulas (P-1)-(P-3). In the chemical formulas, R is represented by chemical formula a: Ar1Ar2N- or chemical formula b: Ar1Ar2N-X-. In chemical formula a or b, each of Ar1, Ar2 or X is one of C5-30 aromatic rings. An organic electroluminescence device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and one or more organic material layers inserted between the electrodes. At least one or more layers of the organic material layers comprise the pyrene derivative.
