PURPOSE: A method for determining an image adjusting parameter and a camera thereof are provided to adjust an image based on a presence value of each identified location, thereby obtaining an improved image quality in a location with the highest presence value. CONSTITUTION: A digital network camera identifies a location of a specific event type which is shown by an adjusted image in a image view(104). The camera determines a presence value of each identified location(106). The presence value reflects the number of event generation of the specific event type among the identified locations. The camera determines an image adjusting parameter based on data of an adjusted location in the image view(108).
