PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the high-speed comparator. SOLUTION: An analog input voltage VIN and a reference voltage VREF are given to a node N1 of a capacitor 11 via switches S1, S2. A node N2 of the capacitor 11 is connected to an input terminal of an inverter 12. The switches S1, S2 are closed/open, based on control signalsϕ1,ϕ2. An input-output terminal of the inverter 12 is connected via a switch S3. The switch S3 is closed/open, based on the control signalϕ1. A series connection circuit consisting of the switch 21 and a capacitor 22 is connected between an input terminal of the inverter 12 and a power supply VSS. The switch 21 is open synchronously with the closing of the switch S2, based on the control signalϕ2, and the switch 21 is open synchronously with the opening of the switch S2 based on the control signalϕ2.
