METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMISSION OF HARQ RESPONSE CHANNEL IN WIRELESS OFDM COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A response channel transmission method and device in a wireless OFDM communication system are provided to receive a response channel without additional signaling or information for response channel reception by securing response channel resources of a new terminal while keeping compatibility with the existing communication method. CONSTITUTION: A control channel domain consists of a group of REGs(401) called the existing resource allocation unit. A CCE(402) called the existing allocation unit for one PDCCH consists of 9 REGs. The entire REG is classified by a first domain(404) and a second domain(403). The first domain is a domain including a REG consisting of a CCE. The second domain is a domain including a REG not included in a CCE. 9 REGs of the first domain consists a CCE.
