PURPOSE: A non-volatile temporary data handling is provided to remove a page from a meta data table by distinguishing unnecessary data into temporary markers. CONSTITUTION: A file system determines storage of data about an NVM(Non-Volatile Memory)(402). The data is supplied to an NVM interface(404). The NVM interface determines the data as temporary data which is stored as NV temporary data(406). The NVM interface supplies metadata about the data(408). The NVM interface selects low performance and/or high speed memory positions or programming schemes(410). The NVM interface stores related metadata related to the NVM page(416).
