FUEL OIL TANK USING STURUCTURAL SANDWICH PLATE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A fuel oil tank using a structural sandwich plate is provided to satisfy an insulation function by using a structural sandwich plate although a separate insulation material is not added on the exterior of a tank body. CONSTITUTION: A fuel oil tank(3) is made of a structural sandwich plate(10). The structural sandwich plate comprises first and second steel plates and an elastomer layer. A gap between the first and second steel plates is filled with the elastomer layer. The fuel oil tank has reinforcement and insulation functions.
