ANTI-ICE SHIP USING STURUCTURAL SANDWICH PLATE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An ice-resistant ship using a structural sandwich plate is provided to prevent damage of an outer plate by using the impulsive load absorbing capacity of a structural sandwich plate reinforced on the outer plate. CONSTITUTION: An ice-resistant ship comprises a structural sandwich plate(10). The structural sandwich plate reinforces an outer plate(1) of a ship. The structural sandwich plate comprises first and second steel plates, and an elastomer layer(13) filled between the first and second steel plates.
