PURPOSE: A virtual keyboard resize apparatus and a method thereof are provided to improve error rate and space utilization by controlling the size of character input keys of a virtual keyboard. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard display unit(110) displays a virtual keyboard including character input keys. A keyboard control unit(120) controls the size of the character input keys according to inputted possibility if the character is inputted through the character input key. The keyboard control unit includes a key size storage unit(140) and a keyboard controller(130). The keyboard controller controls the size of the character input keys.
