PURPOSE: A heat exchanger having a branch joint tank is provided to stabilize a structure for an intake and a discharge of refrigerants and reduce a loss of the refrigerants by joining refrigerant supply and discharge pipes to a branch joint tank. CONSTITUTION: The heat exchanger comprises a branch joint tank(30). The refrigerant supply pipe(12) or the refrigerant discharge pipe(13) is connected to one side of the branch joint tank. The refrigerant inlet and outlet are formed in the branch joint tank. A tank connecting hole corresponding to the branch joint tank is formed in a header pipe(20). In the state of joining the tank connection hole of the header pipe and the refrigerant inlet/outlet of the branch joint tank, the header pipe and branch joint tank are joined in a body so that a leak of refrigerant is prevented at a joining part of the header pipe and branch joint tank. |
