摘要 PURPOSE: An automatically vertical descent apparatus for searching surroundings of underwater/underoil is provided to control a sensing apparatus to be dropped in a desired depth through a dropping distance measuring unit and a drive controller. CONSTITUTION: An electrically driven winch by a motor which is installed in a housing is comprised of a power line and a signal line. The winch ascends a cable having a free end connected to a sensing apparatus. A dropping distance measuring unit(260) measure the drop distance of the cable. A key input part(210) receives the desired depth of flowing water in which the sensing apparatus is arranged. A drive controller(200) checks the drop distance of the cable through a signal from a dropping distance measuring unit and operates the winch. The drive controller descends a cable as much as a water surface distance from a water surface measuring unit and inputted depth which is inputted from the key input part.
