The device has a facing/renovation module (1A) and a construction module, which are ready to be installed. Each module comprises a facing panel (1) that is made of stone (13), and a thermal insulation layer (2) that covers and is secured to an entire main outer face (11) of the panel. The layer has a heat transfer coefficient lower than 0.03 watts per meter Kelvin. The construction module includes a structural panel arranged opposite the facing panel and having size same as that of the facing panel. The layer is sandwiched between the panels, and ensures integration of panels.
