The method involves selecting operating frequency based on one of tuning frequencies such that harmonics generated by the operating frequency are provided from sensitive frequency bands. The tuning frequencies are applied to data processing sequences. The operating frequency is applied to one of selected power supplies. A database including a set of parameters is read for choosing the operating frequency according to the tuning frequencies of a radio frequency receiver (40). An independent claim is also included for a radio frequency equipment.
