PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for removing inclusions from a tundish immersed nozzle are provided to remove inclusions without stopping continuous casting. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing inclusions from a tundish immersed nozzle comprises a stopper(3), an argon gas tank(10), and an inclusion removal powder hopper(20). The stopper has through holes(3a) to which the argon gas tank is connected through an argon gas supply pipe(11). The inclusion removal powder hopper is connected to the through holes through a powder supply pipe(21) and to the argon gas supply pipe through an argon branch pipe(12). |
