The device (14) has a base (30) fixed on a support (12). A securing ring (32) is attached to the base. The securing ring is articulated on the base to move the ring between rest position and holding position of an object. A resilient biasing unit stresses the securing ring toward the rest position. The securing ring comprises a loop, where the biasing unit is formed by a torsion region of the loop. The loop comprises two free ends (58) that are inserted into the base, where the ends are offset axially with respect to an axis perpendicular to a rotation axis of the loop. An independent claim is also included for an interior assembly.
