The device (D) has an acceleration unit (PA) for receiving average acceleration of a vehicle (V) e.g. terrestrial car, where the acceleration unit allows temporary reduction of light output from signal lights (FC, FD, FP, FT) during initial stop of the vehicle when speed of the vehicle is fallen below a selected threshold.
