PURPOSE: A method for preparing sodium cyclic phosphatidic acid is provided to obtain sodium cyclic phosphatidic acid of high purity and to ensure high solubility of sodium cyclic phosphatidic acid at room temperature. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing sodium cyclic phosphatidic acid comprises: a step of activating phospholipase D to lysoform phospholipids in a system containing an organic solvent and/or water; a step of adding sodium salts to the reactant under the presence of a chelating agent; and a step of removing from the solvent. The chelating agent is EDTA. The lysoform phospholipid is prepared by activating phospholipase A2 to phospholipid derived from soybeans, egg yolk, or corn.
