PURPOSE: A system for confirming a geodetic survey of a geographical feature based on a GPS coordinate is provided to complete a numeric map which clearly indicates a location of a real geographical feature when composing a map mapped on a basis of aerial-photographed images and coordinate information. CONSTITUTION: A system for confirming a geodetic survey of a geographical feature based on a GPS coordinate comprises a coordinate measuring device and an updating device. The coordinate measuring device comprises a body(1), a horizontality sensing unit, four legs(3), four hydraulic cylinders, four arms(5), four ball plungers, four hinge units(7), four main GPS sensors(8), an inclination measuring unit, four location receiving units, a first driving unit, a second driving unit, an auxiliary GPS sensor(10), and a control unit. The control unit obtains a coordinate value of the body by calculating coordinate information collected from the main GPS sensors, calculates a distance between the main GPS sensors by receiving information from the inclination measuring unit and the location receiving unit, calculates the each coordinate information of the main GPS sensors and the coordinate value, and calculates the same with the distance between the main GPS sensors, thereby determining the existence of errors by comparing The updating device comprises a map DB, a searching module, and an updating module.
