摘要 PURPOSE: An optical power monitoring module using a tilt angle is provided to utilize a thin film type flexible PCB(Printed Circuit Board) which is freely bent and very thin, thereby integrating a photodiode array into a planar optical waveguide element. CONSTITUTION: An optical power monitoring module using a tilt angle comprises a planar optical waveguide element(120), a thin film type flexible PCB(130), and a photodiode array(140). The planar optical waveguide element comprises a substrate, an optical circuit, and cover glass. One side of the planar optical waveguide element is inclined at a predetermined angle. The thin film type flexible PCB is connected to a surface facing to the inclined side of the planar optical waveguide element and forms an opening where some of optical signals pass through the inclined side of the planar optical waveguide element. The photodiode array is connected to the thin film type flexible PCB to be in a line and fixed to opening of the thin film type flexible PCB by a flip chip bonding method or an eutetic bonding method and receives the optical signals through the opening.
