A method of improvement of wear resistance of a fountain roller of offset and flexographic printing presses includes fault detection for the presence of chips, burrs, excessive wear of necks, removal of old coating and application of the new one, balancing and installation in the press. In the case on the cylindrical surface of the roller a completely regular microrelief of type IV is formed, and then a rubber coating is applied. |
