The element (5) has a central bearing (6) for placing a driveshaft, and a catalyst casing (7) for placing a catalyst, where the element is formed by a casting process and made of aluminum. A turning plate (10) comprises screwing openings (11), where the plate, the bearing and the casing form a single-piece unit. The plate comprises a functional surface (F') and a fixing surface (F), where the bearing and the casing projects from the functional surface. A screwing element e.g. screw and bolt, is inserted into the screwing openings for fixing the element in a cylinder casing. An independent claim is also included for a car.
