Treating human perspiration and optionally body odors resulting from the perspiration, comprises applying an extemporaneous mixture of a composition-A comprising at least one multivalent cation of non-halogenated salt in a medium and a composition-B comprising at least one anionic salt in a medium on the surface of the skin, where the composition-A and composition-B are packaged separately and are applied simultaneously or sequentially on the surface of the skin, and the salt of multivalent cation and anionic salt form antiperspirant salt on the skin by cationic/anionic interactions.
