A cava filter contains the thin-wall tubular body with mandrin, the upper end with external thread, the nut with internal thread, mandrin with narrow and widened parts. The nut has oval upper external surface with narrow and widened parts matching the corresponding parts of mandrin. When the nut turns clockwise or counterclockwise, mandrin moves up or down. The lower part of mandrin has two protrusions connected with corresponding rings via the slots in the thin-wall tubular body. The movable blades located between the rings expanded or closed with the corresponding movements of mandrin. The annular thickened element with the annular canal has four openings and is connected with catheter. The openings are connected with tubular guides located on the anterior, posterior and lateral walls of the device. These guides are passed throughout all cava filter length ending with the openings in the functional part of the device. |
