<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact excitation device which is capable of exciting an object to be excited, while applying a static load in a prescribed direction. <P>SOLUTION: The excitation device includes: a fixed part fixed to a base; a movable part which can be moved back and forth in a prescribed direction relative to the fixed part; driving means which applies a dynamic load to the movable part to drive the movable part in the prescribed direction; a reaction force plate which is attached to the fixed part and holds an object to be excited, between itself and the movable part; an air spring which applies a prescribed compressive static load to the object to be excited, via the movable part; and air pressure control means which controls the air pressure of the air spring so that the prescribed compressive static load is applied to the object to be excited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
