<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining whether a structural member includes a fireproof member from outside of the structural member typified by a door and a sash. <P>SOLUTION: A structural member is provided with at least a fireproof member formed from a fireproof resin composition which contains a component to be detected by detection means for determining the presence. A method for specifying the position of the fireproof member in the structural member includes the step of specifying the position of the fireproof member in the structural member from outside of a nontransparent member using the detection means. The component to be detected for use has at least one character selected from the group consisting of magnetism, conductivity, polarization, reflectivity of electromagnetic waves, and radioactivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
