<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cleaning a dust filter of a dust collector, by which dust stuck to the dust filter is adequately blown off by applying a pressure wave to the dust filter by high-speed gas produced by explosion, and to provide the dust collector. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of cleaning a filter of a dust collector, a clean chamber 3 sectioned by the dust filter 6 in the dust collector 1 is momentarily highly pressurized by a high-speed gas produced by explosion of gunpowder 8a, dust stuck to the surface of the dust filter 6 is blown off by the pressure wave applied to the dust filter 6 and by passing high speed gas flow, and the blown off dust is brushed off to the filtering chamber 2 side. The dust collector includes: a filtering chamber 2 for sucking dust from an inlet port 2b; the clean chamber 3 for introducing air in which dust has been filtered; an exhaust chamber 4 in which an outlet port 4a is formed; a suction fan 5 of the exhaust chamber 4; the dust filter 6 partitioning the filtering chamber 2 and the clean chamber 3; a freely blocked connection cylinder 7 for externally inserting a dust separation means 8 for applying, to the dust filter 6, the dust removing pressure wave produced by explosion of gunpowder 8a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
