<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of improving convenience. <P>SOLUTION: In this vacuum cleaner 1 including an intake body 10 having a suction port 12 being horizontally longer than longitudinally that is open opposite to a floor surface F, the intake body 10 has a first grounding part 17 for connecting to ground at least both ends of the front and a second grounding part for connecting to ground the central part behind the suction port 12.
