A method for creating personalized objects (1) having at least one mechanically functional portion (la), the method comprising at least one step of editing (200) a three-dimensional model (10; 11) using computer program and a step of transforming (300) the model (10; 11) into a physical object (12) using a rapid prototyping machine, wherein during the editing step (200) : a computer program (50) processes a deformation (210) of the original model (10) into a deformed model (11), a three-dimensional geometrical constraints database (30), associated with said models (10; 11), provides a set of constraints (3) on the geometry of said mechanically functional portions (la), and a computer program (60) computes at least one step of comparison (220) between some geometrical constraints (3) from said database (30) and a model selected between the original model (10) and the deformed model (11). |
