<p>This invention discloses a system for facilitating a financial transaction between a seller who offers, via the system, an item for sale to a buyer, the system comprising: a memory to store the seller's preferred or initial desired selling price; processing means, operatively connected to and in communication with the memory to calculate a current buying price based on collected historical viewing data relating to the item, which current buying price is less than the initial desired selling price and is decreased in price, by a calculated selling price decrease amount, every time a prospective buyer views the item but decides against purchasing same; and a communication arrangement operably in communication with the processing means to firstly communicate said current buying price to the buyer, secondly receive input back from the buyer in order to process a transaction relating to the item, and thirdly allow communication between the system and the seller so as to inform the seller about the transaction and payout the selling price decrease amount, or at least part thereof, in addition to the current buying price that was accepted and paid by the buyer. The invention also extends to a method of using the system.</p> |
