An involving method of Universal Service Interface (USI) in communication technology field, if an application needs to initiate a service request to a USI system, the application looks up weather the valid user temporary identifier (ID) of a target user exists; if the valid user temporary ID doesn't exist, the application initiates a service request to the USI system using the user permanent ID of the target user, and receives the user temporary ID and its survival time which are sent by the USI system and corresponding to the user permanent ID used in the service request; the application initiates a service request to the USI system using the user temporary ID which is sent by said USI system and corresponding to the user permanent ID used in the service request. An involving device of USI is provided in the embodiment of invention. The embodiment of this invention effectively ensures the safety of USI involving, and the application can initiate the USI service request even the user is in an off-line state, and the problem on the limitation of application initiating USI service is resolved. |
