RADIO TERMINAL AND DEMODULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a received signal to be modulated even if a radio terminal is not notified of modulation schemes of other radio terminals.

SOLUTION: A receiving unit 1a receives information on a modulation scheme applied to signals to a radio terminal 1 from a transmission apparatus 3. An MLD unit 1b performs maximum likelihood detection of a received signal by using a modulation scheme based on the information received by the receiving unit 1a and a plurality of modulation schemes applicable to a signal to another radio terminal 2. An estimation unit 1c estimates a modulation scheme applied to a signal to the other radio terminal 2 on the basis of predetermined information obtained in a maximum likelihood detection process in each of the plurality of modulation schemes of the MLD unit 1b. A controlling unit 1d controls the MLD unit 1b to perform maximum likelihood detection by using the modulation scheme estimated by the estimation unit 1c and the modulation scheme in the information received by the receiving unit 1a.
