<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a, which are high in the catalytic activity in the vapor phase polymerization, and suppressed in liability (H/G ratio) to occurrence of sharp reaction in the polymerization initial period for the polymerization activity, and can be produced in a high yield while a high stereoregularity is maintained in a propylene polymer. <P>SOLUTION: The solid catalyst component for polymerization of olefin contains magnesium, titanium, a halogen, and an internal electron donor, and the total content of an asymmetric phthalate diester represented by general formula (1): R<SP POS="POST">1</SP><SB POS="POST">k</SB>(C<SB POS="POST">6</SB>H<SB POS="POST">4-k</SB>)(COOR<SP POS="POST">2</SP>)(COOR<SP POS="POST">3</SP>) is 0.2 to 0.8 in molecular ratio with respect to the total content of the internal electron donor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
