摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical axis control device of an on-vehicle head lamp configured to determine a traveling state suitable for optical axis correction with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The optical axis control device of an on-vehicle head lamp includes: an adjuster 6 for adjusting an optical axial angle of the on-vehicle head lamp 5 in vertical direction; a drive torque calculator 2b for calculating drive torque Td that acts on a drive wheel; a resistance torque calculator 2c for calculating resistance torque Tr of a traveling vehicle 10; a roll angle calculator 2f for calculating a roll angle &theta;<SB POS="POST">y</SB>of the traveling vehicle 10; a determiner 3 for determining whether the vehicle 10 is in static state or moving state on the basis of the drive torque Td, the resistance torque Tr, and the roll angle &theta;<SB POS="POST">y</SB>; and a controller 4 for allowing the adjuster 6 to adjust the optical axial angle when the determiner 3 determines that the vehicle 10 is in the static state, and prohibits the adjustment when determining that the vehicle is in the moving state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
